- Mark BI would gladly come back to Bac Ha and stay at the Huy Trung Family Homestay but a pandemic got in the way. An ideal place to explore the ethnic markets nearby and to set out for further explorations of Vietnam's far northern hill country. A very gracious and welcoming family and Trung will go out of his way to accommodate your needs. Hopefully I will get there again.

- Janet FThis is a well designed, beautifully built homestay (the father is an architect) with spacious rooms and en suite bathrooms, everything you need. I ate at the Homestay breakfast and dinner all the time I was there and had a picnic lunch on the day I decided to do a tour in the car which they provide - well worth $30 as you TRULY go off the beaten track and see the real rural life if several ethnic tribes-people. Moves you, be warned. Amazing. Lovely family run place anyway and I would highly recommend it - the food was lovely and the family warm and so sweet. Trung (pronounced 'Chung') speaks superb English.

I was born and grow up in Bac Ha, I love Bac Ha and want to do the best for Bac Ha. I am a civil engineer and have worked for the local government for 11 years, and now I open my Homestay to serve tourists with the desire to meet with new friends around the world. Introduce you about Bac Ha, at the same time to have more personal income as well as create jobs for local people and also want to have enough money to implement small projects that help the community like In the field of environmental protection, cultural preservation, raising awareness of the community for sustainable development.
As a designer, I have renovated and expanded my home to open Homestay and create a relaxing environment suitable for tourists when visiting and relaxing in Bac Ha and experience with our family life . In addition to creating the best conditions in the bedroom, we also serve breakfast, dinner with our daily dishes. Our family now has 5 people including my mother, my wife and 2 daughters.
Besides, I also organize tours in the area of Bac Ha where you can visit the beautiful scenery, natural, the village of the local ethnic here ( H'mong, Dao, Tay, Nung, Phu La, La Chi.). You can experience by walking, motorbike tour, hiking or with car etc. It is very convenient and comfortable.
